I've gotten asked to join several different "Rockabilly" sites and I've declined them all because to author one of them would be a lie. I know that those into the scene are very serious about it. I just don't like the term, it's kinda the opposite of the vintage lovers style. I'm tattoo free, but I do sometimes rock some crazy colors in my hair like right now so I could see where people might get confused. But truthfully I just don't like the labels. I dress this way because I find it interesting, exciting and glamorous. Plus it gives me a way to show off my feminine side.
Don't call it Rockabilly

ReplyDeleteI love your hair!
ReplyDeleteMaking assumptions simply on the way a person "looks" is an age old mistake, I think. You look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMyrna Loy! Isn't she just amazing!?! I cannot imagine anyone other than her as Nora Charles.
I love the Thin man movies! My favorite! I wanna buy the whole set, I remember borrowing the movies from a co-worker forever and a million years ago. My daughter's name is Nora :) Yes, it's a sign.
