Yes, it's that special time when you get to find out more about the lovely man I'm marrying and how we came to be.
Me and Cian met through a mutual friend by the name of Jake. I worked with him, Cian was his roommate. Cian was supposed to be moving out and I was going to take his place, but moved in early since I needed a place to live.
So we started off as Roommates; roommates who obviously had crushes on each other. I liked him, but he had a girlfriend. Then he liked me, but I had a boyfriend. Astrid showed up on our doorstep, we decided to keep her even though we weren't a couple. Our other relationships didn't last. So...
Our first kiss was on his birthday, he kissed me. But it took him over 2 weeks to ask me out on our first date. I'm embarrassed to admit it but, our first date was Twilight! Ahhhh Blushing. After just a couple weeks we fell in love, fast. And that's how it started.
We had some absolutely fantastic first couple of months, got our own apartment together, life, you know. We also had some rough times there in the middle, I mean really rough (exes, kids, exes) but they weren't so bad that we fell outta love. Now it's over 3 years later and we are even more in love and engaged!
That's a wonderful story and it's absolutely wonderful that you are now officially engaged!
