Flower tutorial: Baby Beanie #2

Make this fabulous fall baby beanie!

What you need:
Knit material
Scissors
Flower fabric
Button
Corresponding thread
Needle

Start off with a finished knit, I used a cashmere knit. Cut your half circles (about 7 inches wide) and sew along the edges, right sides facing.
Cut out five circles out of your flower fabric, I switched it up and used a couple different fabrics in color and textile.
Fold each circle twice (it'll be a curved triangle) and hand sew along the long end.
Do this with the other 4 circles threading them on the same line.
Pull the thread tight through each petal so they start to actually look like petals.
Once they are all tightened, round the first to the last petal and securely sew together. Now you have a flower!
Attach to your lil beanie and finish it all of with a cute button.

  1. How freakin' cute is this!?! I'm going to be a "grand" soon and I bet it could be adapted for a boy, if that's what happens. Thanks for sharing!
