Coffee Scrub tutorial

Beauty DIYs are always fun because even if you aren't giving them away you can still make up a bunch for yourself. I added this Coffee Scrub to my Christmas baskets last year for the ladies in the family.

What you need:
2 cups Ground Coffee
2 cups white sugar
1 cup Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Nutmeg
Baby food jars (fills 20 smaller jars)
mini cupcake liners

Add all of your dried ingredients and mix well.
Add in your Olive oil and stir well. It will have the texture of wet sand, love it!
Over fill each jar and pack it down well.
Clean off your jars and smack on a label. Making the labels is always my favorite part of these type of projects!
For the top I had an ingenious idea, mini cupcake liners! They work perfectly because they naturally fold down to cover the writing on the lid. I attached mine to the lids with Mod Podge.
Don't forget to include instructions on your label. I kept mine super simple
And there you have it! My friends and family loved these! The mixture keeps up to 6 months if kept in a cool place or a year if refrigerated.

  1. This looks really cool and is something I can actually do! I am REALLY not crafty. Thanks for the tutorial.

  2. LOVE the creative idea using the mini cupcake liners!
