Being a stepmommy in your 20's: My story

As many of you may have realized, or have even commented, I might look a little young to have a teenage daughter. I never call my daughter my step-daughter because that's not how I feel, she is part of my family now and I love her to pieces. So I wanted to tell you a little about our lil family!

But being a stepmom to a teenager while I'm still in my 20's isn't cake. It's tough, stressful and confusing for all of us. But after being together for 4 years now, I wouldn't want to change it!

I love my quirky family. Me and my Fiance Cian (pronounce like Shawn) are 7 years apart and have been together over 4 years now. He is my better half, my soulmate and my reason to smile every day! He just happened to have a little girl when we first got together :) But I've taken on the sometimes grueling task of being mommy to that little sweetheart.

Now, not so little, she's just entering her teens. Aaaahhh! Thank goodness she's a great kid, smart like her dad.

As you may have heard or know, we are getting married this summer and plan to add on to our family in the next year or so. Won't this be fun to see! So... watch me go crazy as I happily juggle this fun lil life of ours!
