I still had some leftover wooden blocks from my NBC ornaments. Just enough to spell out Happy Halloween and Christmas! So I thought I would finally make my Nightmare Before Christmas wreath for both Halloween and Christmas.
This was the annoying and grueling task; wrapping the wreath with yarn. If I didn't love the look so much, I wouldn't go through the trouble, but of course I love the texture. Thankfully I only decided to do half of the wreath in yarn.
Instead of a bow for the wreath I decided to do Jack's bat tie. Easy enough, I just cut out some cardboard and painted it.
Ta da! Everything is in place, including Jack and Sally. Now to add the removable holidays. I wanted to be able to use the same wreath for Halloween and Christmas since they will both be NBC themed. So I attached two screw heads to the sides of the wreath to hang the signs from.
Here's some close-ups of everything done.
And when it's Christmas time, I just have to change the holiday sign! I might add more to the wreath later too, it still looks a little too bare to me.
