We had a sort of High Tea dinner tonight. My husband has been bothering me about cucumber sandwiches for a while now. I know, odd thing to be asking for. So I surprised him after work with a High Tea of finger sandwiches, cupcakes, cakes and bakers.
I made standard cucumber sandwiches on whole wheat and spinach and watercress roll ups.
The bakers were filled with chives, Parmesan and Gouda.
The cupcakes were Butter Pecan with sugar cookie frosting and strawberries. The cakes were freckled vanilla bean and cream cheese. Both were delicious but the cakes were to die for!
We used my beautiful wedding Teavana Wedding Tea Set. Love it!
